Our crew at the Democratic National Convention caught up with one of North Carolina's rising political stars, State Senator Don Davis. A former mayor who was the first African-American to lead his hometown, Davis is the cousin of NorthStar News Executive Editor Walter Fields. The senator was part of the North Carolina delegation and graciously took time to chat with our Circle of Hope squad as he prepared to head over to the Time Warner Cable Arena for activities on the final day of the convention.
